Adrit Rao - Grocery Shopping during COVID
Hi my name is Adrit Rao, I am 12 years old and I love to code. I am an Apple's WWDC 2020 Swift Student Challenge Winner and I currently have two apps on the App Store (MoTV and ShopQuik). I like to develop apps and devices using my programming skill set to help people and I hope to continue at it!
ShopQuik is an iOS iPhone app that will help people in Palo Alto shop faster. It utilizes crowdsourced data to inform users on the current wait time at their local grocery stores. During the COVID-19 Pandemic waiting in a shopping line for a prolonged period can increase your exposure to infectious diseases. Using ShopQuik you can check the wait time at your local grocery stores and go shopping when the wait time is not too long and there are not too many people. Let's say you are at Whole Foods and the wait time is very long, using ShopQuik you can inform people on how long the wait time is. Now lets say you are about to go to Whole Foods you can open the app and view the current wait time.

How to download ShopQuik:
Go to the Apple App Store
Search for “ShopQuik”
Tap on the first icon
Tap the download button and wait for installation to complete
Go to the home page
Click on the app icon and start Shopping Faster!
